Client background

The National Education Union (NEU) campaigns for educational standards and the best possible working conditions for its members.

Following the merger between the National Union of Teachers and Association of Teachers and Lecturers, we were appointed to undertake an audit of existing owned buildings in central London to develop strategic accommodation proposals to facilitate the integration of both unions.

We presented a range of options including proposals to co-locate both organisations into a single building at Hamilton House whilst also completing an extensive refurbishment programme to fully modernise the working environment. This has created major benefits in bringing staff together from both unions. There are also substantial future cost savings from the disposal of the released ATL building.

Concept4 have been an excellent and highly professional company to work with on the refurbishment of our Headquarters building in Kings Cross. They have really added value including their ability to engage with stakeholders across the business, with superb input on design. Throughout the whole project, their team have been very responsive to our needs as a client and have delivered a complex project on time and on budget. I would absolutely recommend them without hesitation”
